Publish links to, and help to develop content area specific blogs in order to provide an educational forum for music teachers across the state&lt;br/&gt;  Develop District Music Education Brag Pages published on my webpage, shared with all local news outlets updated monthly by String Music Education Representatives&lt;br/&gt;  Offer a “hotline” to string content specific mentors for help after hours&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;To embrace technology for both professional development and in the classroom&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;By:  &lt;br/&gt;1.  Continued support ensuring access to basic computer needs in the State&lt;br/&gt; 2.  Sponsoring workshops that could partner with the University of   Delaware, furthering the reach of  DMEA Notes,  Technology Corner&lt;br/&gt; 3.  Promote and provide grant writing&lt;br/&gt; 4.  Featuring Delaware String music teachers’ lessons on sites such as &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.teachertube.com/&quot;&gt;www.teachertube.com&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; To Further the art form&lt;br/&gt;By:&lt;br/&gt;  1.  Commissioning one work a year through a rotation of ensembles&lt;br/&gt;  2.  Sponsoring Festivals in addition to the competitions&lt;br/&gt;  3.  String Concert Calendar Subscriptions for Schools and Community   Groups by region&lt;br/&gt;</description>

These ideas then mold and shape the strategies that I use in the classroom.  I have been very fortunate within my own district, my supervisors are supportive, our new superintendent understands the need of a successful music program, we are beginning to resolve scheduling issues in most of my schools, the program is well funded, and I am surrounded by concerned, dedicated music teachers in each of my six schools that help me with anything at a moments notice.  My program is growing.  However, if any one of these things becomes threatened, growth becomes a thing of the past.  By utilizing every opportunity to grow, maintaining a vigilant search for new and opposing ideas, and ensuring constant communication with all stakeholders I will begin to meet the demands of the music classroom.  In this way I can help to safeguard further classroom development and ensure continued success. &lt;br/&gt;</description>
